I began my career working as an apprentice to Prue Lane Fox, one of the leading UK interior designers in the 1990’s. Accompanying my background in art, Prue gave me a classic foundation in design that stays with me today, allowing me the opportunity to work on projects from Highclere castle to hotels in Barbados.
I went on to help establish a contemporary design team at Interiors bis where we were chosen by House&Garden as one of the magazine’s Top 100 leading designers.
More recently I enjoyed working with Caroline Riddell on projects across the UK, Switzerland and Italy, and this provided me with the confidence to set up on my own.
I now have numerous independent projects under my belt in the UK and in India and over 15 years experience in the industry. Through helping people to realise designs that express their personality I’ve learned a lot about what works, and doesn’t work.
To me, good design is all about emotion. I’m driven by a desire to create uplifting, harmonious and uniquely personal environments that are accessible to all.
My approach:
If my experience has taught me anything, it is that there is a need for a more open and accessible service aimed at those who already have a good understanding of what they want. They may be looking for a little help along the way and quick access to the best suppliers and the chance to enjoy creative self-expression.
